What's this? More than 1,000 hits?

Thank you, everybody. Somehow this blog has enjoyed over 1,000 visits.

I'd like to say how much I appreciate your trust in telling me your stories of loss, devastation and healing. I am always convinced that your remarks will reach the person who needs to learn from your experience. That's just how it seems to work.

That's why I'm writing this book.

  1. Hi Alicia~

Thank you for emailing the link to this blog. You are such a talented writer! I knew you were smart, a great songwriter, witty, compassionate, a great mother & wife, and funny as hell, but I had no idea you wrote a book OR that you write so well! Not just anybody can keep readers' attention. I'm convinced JUST from reading your blog posts that you will have MANY people buying your book once Mr. T (does he wear gold chains around his neck & sport HUGE muscles?) gets your book on the shelves of every store in America...or the world... in different languages!
OMG...sign me up for your list of questions on grief. My sister & I just might share some of our own surrounding our father's death with ya. I'll be seeing her tomorrow. She & hubby are visiting from Mt. Shasta.
Hugs & love to you and your family,
    Lori Bunting and family

  2. Thanks, Lori. I may have to frame this! I'll send your question sheet right now.

No, he does not resemble that Mr. T in any way:)

Enjoy your visit with your sister,
    A

  4. I passed this on to one of my best friends who lost her Mom years ago and to Catherine & Annette (remember my cousins?) who have lost Mom, Step-dad & Dad in the last few years. Well done, drama club President!

  6. OMG, Alicia when you asked for input on grief i was thinking what the hell is she up to. Now i see why. You are brilliant! Very well done. And I would love to share more with you of our baby's loss and our grieving process on how that went for us.As we lost Grandpa 10 days after Bryce died. And of course you being in our life to help with that process of singing so beautifully at the service. So i will be purchasing a copy of the book. I love you so much. Great job.

When someone dies, (other than attending the service), I do this for the family-
